TGA Milestone: The Guy on TV

Dear my beloved readers,

Finally I decide to announce my new milestone of several achievements. Some of them are probably long due but I think that later is not always worse than sooner. So here goes.

Upon my career as blogger/journalist, I have found so many elements unpredictable and delighting at the same time. As you may notice, even from the beginning I have been always faithful to my passion, writing in this matter, and even at one point decided to resign from my full time job and to pursue this to the world’s end.

Fruitful is the right word to describe my state now. There are so many blessings, intangible or not, that have become the source of my mirth and joy. Through hardships and prayers, finally I set up a new milestone today.

It’s a day that marks my sixth month of becoming a full time blogger/writer/journalist and from here the new horizon feels like miles closer. After years of working with printing media and establishing good network with everyone, finally it’s almost my third time now to appear on TV.

The horizon never seen before from a blogger’s paradigm, a food blogger in this case, is what I called earlier as unpredictable yet delighting. It’s an open road from now on and for the sake of my love, my passion, and my dedication for you dear readers, I shall continue to contribute the best and strive to be better each and every day.

I hope this small post can become an inspiration for everyone, that the glory I have still sought is getting nearer and nearer within my grasp. So can you share the spoils unknown before, great stories unwritten before, and universe unexplored before. Shall we then?

PS: Sorry, I just recently watched Coriolanus and the wordings definitely affected by it. Haha.. 😀

Regards,

TGA – RF

TGA Milestone: The Gastronomy Aficionado in 2011

Ah it’s just an annual survey of how my blog’s doing in 2011 and I wanna thank you guys again for visiting my modest home here. I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t up to you guys!

Thanks again and let’s savor 2012 together! 🙂

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 48,000 times in 2011. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 18 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

TGA Milestone: What’s Cooking in 2012?

Dear readers,

How are you?

I hope you are in tiptop shape since it’s about time to enter a new year and I bet you have great agendas to celebrate it.

As for me, I am currently having a peaceful one, partly because I’m rejuvenating myself after a tiring but joyous 2011 and also aiming for new things. There is no time to stop thinking about what I want to invent and having great fun in-between.

First thing first is perhaps to fill in the gaps I made in some sections still written as TBA. Next is to present the most convenient way to share the details about ratings, addresses, etc. So in all, it’s still pretty much the same but my idealistic thoughts won’t let me, forever, to present something half-baked.

So assume that I will treat you the best of my ability as a writer, a critic, an aficionado, a cook, a photographer, a moviegoer, a traveler, and anything that I could seek and share for my satisfaction and yours! Let’s pray that we have the strength to carry on and bring the best!

Well, that’s it from me and see you next year! Thanks always and God bless.

TGA Milestone: The hit reached 50,000!

Dear oh dear, how could I have missed such an important moment that I have been anticipating so much?

Anyway, after two and a half years of a wonderful journey so here we are then! It may not be much but it’s a wonderful achievement for me and I’m again and again thankful for it.

So it is my hope and it’s never too late for hope, to keep on learning and yearning more about food and to share it with you all until forever.

I bid you again thanks for being my loyal patrons and let’s keep on grazing until God knows when. Salute!

The Gastronomy Aficionado goes bilingual!

Dear my good readers. It is now the time to share this good news especially for Indonesian readers.

It has come to my attention that I have been writing articles in Indonesian for the last few months. It’s challenging but necessary to complete my capabilities as a writer.

Therefore from now I will also issue articles in Indonesian. It’s gonna be strange and different though but as you have witnessed, my passion and my love in writing never cease.

So on the other hand, I’m indulging you more and more yet I do hope that you enjoy it.

Stay tune then! 😉
