A media invitation some time ago brought me to The Stacks Burger, a new venture by the same owner of LIN Artisan Ice Cream and Papabubble. Positioned still within the same property of the prior, The Stacks Burger occupies the bigger portion of the building blueprint.
While Astrid Hadywibowo has been known as the lady who brought artisan caramel candy making and liquid nitrogen ice cream for the first time to Jakarta, she decided to introduce us to her version of ramen burger that hit the abroad Western shores quite recently.
A number of options are available for you to choose from the beef patty, fish, and also chicken. For those of you who prefer the classic bun, The Stacks Burger provides it as well. However, it’s actually quite an interesting experiment if you try first with the noodles.
Firstly the noodles are mixed altogether with eggs and then grilled upon order. While the condiments and the fillings are rather modest, The Stacks Burger compensates these with a fulfilling patty of good amount of juiciness, meatiness, and generally well-flavored.
Each burgers came in with French fries and if you are Indonesians, I bet you will agree to me that by using noodles, you’ll get full easier than just buns. You might still need the extra chili sauce or the BBQ sauce but satisfied was the feeling that I had after having the burger.
It may be a long and rocky road for The Stacks Burger due to the competition, especially that currently there’s this Three Buns with its elaborated concept, but let us see how The Stacks Burger can keep up with it and write its own glorious history in time.
