MICHELIN-STARRED CHEF NICOLAS ISNARD RETURNS TO MANDARIN ORIENTAL, JAKARTA
This March, lovers of fine food can discover the intoxicating flavors of fine French cuisine as Michelin-starred Chef Nicolas Isnard returns to Lyon restaurant at Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta from 27 to 29 March 2014.
The famous chef at Auberge de la Charme, a Michelin-starred restaurant in France, visited Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta for the hotel’s quarterly Michelin star events in 2011 and 2012. This time, Chef Nicolas will be returning to bring fresh and exquisite flavours in new twists and refinements to his already acclaimed French dishes that will be presented in an exclusive business lunch and degustation dinners.
Chef Nicolas is renowned for his innovative approach to traditional French cuisine, from mixing distinctive rustic flavours with provincial produce to presenting classic French dishes. His vast culinary expedition in Europe and Asia has broadened his knowledge of spices and aromas, cultures and techniques that continue to enrich his creation today.
The lunch set consists of two to four-course menus and is priced from IDR 288,000 to IDR 688,000. The degustation menu is priced at 1,188,000 for a six-course menu, and IDR 2,588,000 for a Chef’s Table with minimum of four persons.
Food lovers and culinary enthusiasts who wish to learn tips from Chef Nicolas can attend his cooking demonstration on 29 March 2014, priced at IDR 588,000 per person which includes two-course lunch. Limited seats are available.
