  • Colombian Gastronomy Week

27 May – 2 June

Join us for Colombian Gastronomy Week at Café Gran Via. Chef Nicholas Montoya, Executive Chef of the Embassy of Colombia in Indonesia brings to life recipes that will reveal something new and unforgettable to those who have yet to experience them. Special dishes include Arepa Rellena, made of grounded corn, raisin, and brown sugar cooked in banana leaves while having melted cheese on top, and Envuelto de Mazorca, a grilled dish with shredded beef and grated cheese.

  • Batavia Food Festival

17 – 23 June

Batavia Food Festival will be held for a week celebrating 486th anniversary of Jakarta. Indigenous dishes from Ase Porridge, Stewed Jengkol, to Beer Pletok will be served.

  • Friday Night Seafood Buffet. Fresh and delicious seafood is served every Friday night from 6 pm to 10.30 pm. The buffet is a seemingly an endless array of seafood specialties and familiar favorites including oysters and lobsters.
  • Sunday Brunch. The best Sunday Brunch in town, only at a Café Gran Via from 11.30 am to 3.00 pm with live music and children’s playground activities. Get 50% discount for children between 6 to 12 years old and 30% discount for seniors over 60 years old, terms and conditions apply.

Take away packages are available for Quick Breakfast with one danish/croissant/muffin with a cup of coffee/tea, or Lunch with Beef/chicken/vegetable sandwich with a bottle of chilled juice for only Rp. 50,000 nett and Rp. 80,000 nett respectively.

A variety of pastries, cakes, and cupcakes are prepared by Executive Pastry Chef Sapto Wibowo and his team. Have a 50% discount on pastries from 5.00 pm onwards and 30% for cakes from 8.00 pm onwards.

MOHJ - Dragon Boat Dumpling

To celebrate the upcoming Dragon Boat Dumpling Festival, Xin Hwa at Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta presents an array of delectable glutinous rice dumplings handcrafted by Executive Chinese Chef Jeff Lee and filled with the finest ingredients.

Available throughout the month of June, guests may choose to order single dumplings or a selection to be enjoyed with family and friends. Wrapped in bamboo leaves, the traditional glutinous rice dumplings are filled with rich goodness including abalone, dried scallop, pork belly, mung bean, mushroom, salted egg yolk and lotus seed and priced at IDR98,000++. Another delicious treat is the “Golden Pearl Dumpling” in traditional Hong Kong style. MOHJ - Empal

Evolved with influences from various cuisines such as Portuguese, Dutch and Chinese, Betawi cuisine is renowned for its rich combination of flavours. To mark the 486th anniversary of Jakarta, Cinnamon presents a multitude of traditional Betawi specialties in addition to the restaurant’s regular buffet.
